Dear potential award winners

All award winners will receive our official trophy which will be sent after the ceremony, since the judging committee will make its decision known not until a day before the announcement. There will be one winner to each competing category but the possibility remains that special awards (honourable mentions, jury awards) may be given.
Winning films will travel, with the creator’s permission, all over Greece to be screened to our network of film societies and film clubs.

Dear friends, this year we aimed high and we hoped for so much more. Unfortunately, due to the difficult economic circumstances as well as the Covid-19 pandemic which lasted more than expected, our expectations were not met. Thus our revenue targets were missed.
As a consequence we will not be able to provide cash prizes to the Best Short Film, Best Director and Best Student Film categories, as planned early in 2021. In addition, we decided to offer free admission to everyone thus not charging an entrance fee, making the event more attractive to guests and all the amazing films accessible to larger audiences. After all, the most important thing is to be together again in a festival atmosphere.
