ABOUT THE EVENT

Dear friends, welcome to our Annual Film Festival Live Event for the films submitted to Short Encounters during the 2022 edition.
The event will take place in Preveza (Greece), will commence on Thursday the 11th of May (2023) and conclude on Sunday the 14th. The main Awards’ Ceremony will take place on Saturday the 13th regarding all award categories except the Documentary Short Film Category. All documentary short films will be screened on Sunday the 14th of May and on the same day the award fi the best documentary will be presented after the conclusion of the day's screenings.
During the 2022 edition, we had the privilege to welcome to our festival over 900 short films from all over the world.
From those, our judging committee has chosen 71 which will be screened live during our main IN-COMPETITION programme, competing for the annual awards in their respective categories.
Interviews and Q&A sessions with artists visiting the festival will take place during the screenings, while various artistic events will take place during the main awards ceremony on Saturday night.

The streaming will start at 9.15pm EEST and will last approximately for two hours.
